Mission X by Youth Corps Singapore 2021
This three-day event required me to meet new people from the different polytechnics, and present our ideas to help our target group: Homeless/ displaced people. Volunteering in this event gave me an opportunity to interact with 'New Hope Community Services' to understand about the problems faced by the displaced so that we could propose ideas that could help them.

VIA SAMH
Fundraiser 2018
As one of the leaders of this student-led VIA project, we raised funds and awareness for the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) by selling handmade items made by our classmates to the rest of the school.

Secondary 1 Orientation camp facilitator 2019
In 2019, I participated in the Secondary 1 Orientation Camp as a facilitator.

Christieara Summit - Minding Young Minds: Wellness in NP
2021
Volunteering in this event required to meet new people from other courses, work in a group of 5 to come up with innovative ideas to solve the problem of stigmatisation of mental health in schools and prepare a presentation in less than 3 days. I have learnt to communicate, understand the problems faced by our target audience and innovate by coming up with a solution tailored for them.

Twilight Passion Project
2018
In 2018, I participated in the Student Councillor Student Initiated Project with Viriya Community Services. We planned the event, and spent an afternoon interacting with the elderly at a day care centre, teaching them finger art and origami, as well as having a sing-along session.

Leadership experience
-
EXCO of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Photography Club : Secretary
Through the process I have learnt to:
- Become Organised as I was required to organise the club's administrative matters.
- Be Detailed as it was important for me to be accurate so that the club will be in order.
- Communicate politely with my team as being part of the team with 9 other people, we needed to express ourselves and come up with ideas to keep our members (about 100) engaged.
-- Work in a team to organize events like photo walks (25 attendees) and club sessions. This will all not be possible if only one person did the work.
